You find yourself working late one night and when you leave your office and head to your car, you realize how dark it is. You always leave when the sun is still out, but tonight was different and now the sun is down and the street lights just aren’t the same. You think to yourself, I can make it, I just have to walk faster. As you turn each corner your heart is pumping faster and faster as you see whole different element on the streets, and you ask yourself what am I going to do? Why put yourself in a situation like that? Plan ahead for what could happen and hope it never does.

Personal protection is a choice we all have to make and it varies greatly between people. Luckily there are a lot of personal protection tools to choose from. Like Stun guns and Pepper spray to more up close and personal tools like Kubotans and knives.

You never know when a situation will present itself and you find yourself needing a protection. From Tactical pens which allow you to break glass in the event you need to escape or flat/pointed kubotans which are an excellent choice when you need to break away from an aggressor. These tools are only good if you have one at your fingertips.

When was the last time you saw on the news a young woman was raped? Assaulted in a dark parking lot or given a “Date Rape Drug” in her drink? It is a scary world out there, but it doesn’t have to be. There are a lot of choices out there like the “Drink Guard”. Which is designed to detect if a date rape drug was added to your drink or an electronic pocket whistle. Having these readily available could make the difference between being a victim or not.
